Star V SLG-2000 V-Groover is a production machine for precision V-grooving, taping and miter-fold preparation of panels. It is designed for applications such as countertop build-up edges, cove backsplashes, countertop drops, floating shelves, column wraps, door jambs, architectural millwork and other folded-panel components.
Production capabilities
- Automatically applies and cuts the tape used as the hinge for miter folding
- V-grooving performed from above
- High-precision stainless-steel roller bed helps minimize friction and surface marring
- Motorized setup functions for operator convenience
- Standard 90-degree V-groove tooling; other groove angles can be used with appropriate tooling/setup
- Linear and cross-cut capability
- Cross cuts up to approximately 14.5 in. from the fixed fence in standard configuration
- Optional configuration extends cross-cut reference to approximately 24.5 in.
- Suitable for pre-tape and single-pass cutting workflows
